After returning back to my home county of Sussex, I had built up a perception for the past 10 years in regard to the town I would be living in from now on, Worthing. The last time I had visited Worthing before September of 2025 was when I was still a child, unaware of the changes that would be happening but still familiar with Worthing as a whole. This project explores the feeling of experiencing location after being away for so long, the perceptions I built up which were challenged and how my experiences as an adult intertwine with my memories as a kid. The space between the photographs represents the stop and start that plagues my perception; certain memories can be found clear and paired, whilst others become a blurry and distant memory.
